'Martian Mountains' wide choker of aquatic leather on grosgrain

  • Wear this one-of-a-kind choker to work or out to dinner. It can be dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a nice dress. It can also be worn around your head as a headband or tiara sweatband.

  • This choker is made from off-cuts of Nile Perch fish leather, so it’s sustainable and eco. Do your part to help save our Earth. The gunmetal fishskin bits are machine sewn onto a french blue colored cotton/rayon grosgrain ribbon with long-lasting black nylon thread and backed with another layer of ribbon for full comfort.

  • Irregularities may occur with the fish scales, this is totally normal, as no two fish are exactly alike!

  • Measures 2” wide by 14” long. It’s sized so that everyone can wear it, unless your neck is very small (12 1/2” and under). Two gold eyelets at the ends let you tie narrow kangaroo leather lace into a bow at the center back of your neck.

  • Sent to you in an envelope by First Class USPS mail.

The Nile Perch fish is harvested for food. The skin is a by-product and would have ended up in a landfill. The fish were swimming in Lake Victoria in Africa, pre-tanned and then shipped to northern Iceland to finish the tanning process at Nordic Fish Leather. Sadly, this Icelandic factory is no longer tanning this type of fish, so you’re getting a true one-of-a-kind choker!
