Eco Natural dyed Rose Cloche Hat in light green

  • The Eco Rose Cloche was created during my textile artist's residency in Northern Iceland last summer. I gathered lupin flowers and hand dyed pieces of an upcycled cashmere sweater. I also used a digital embroidery machine at the textile makerspace to embroider on it with grass green rayon thread before draping the pieces by hand. I was inspired by a care label that I found in another cashmere hat. No pattern was used, so it’s truly a one of a kind hat. Single layered, unlined.

  • I then hand stitched this hat with cotton embroidery thread.

I know that it can be tricky choosing a hat online! It’s always best to try hats on in person, because everyone has a different shape head and face. For complete peace of mind, all hats can be exchanged or returned for full money back.
