The Coquette Cloche was created by deconstructing a felted Eileen Fisher sweater. I draped the pieces by hand. No pattern was used, so it’s truly a one of a kind hat. Single layered, unlined.
I hand stitched this hat with cotton embroidery thread. Completely human powered. No sewing machine touched it.
Sustainable and eco: 4.6 oz/ 128 grams of pre-loved wool sweaters saved from the landfill. Help save your planet.
Super versatile: Wear it with the visor in the front to look like a cloche, or backwards to look like a helmet. The visor also has some wire at the edge, so it can be bent around or flipped up, out of your eyes.
One size fits all. Depth: 7”. The visor measures 2 1/2” out from the head, so it doesn’t give you full sun protection, only a moderate amount.
Arrives and lives in a muslin bag with a handmade lavender sachet to keep the moths away.
Easy to gift, travel with, and keep in the purse in case of emergency for chilly times because it arrives with its own muslin drawstring bag.
